Hi Guys, a buddy of mine is looking to plug where the oil sending unit goes on his 94 LT1. What is the size plug he would need to use for that. His current oil sending unit is rubbing on his headers which caused a leak. Any info would be great.

Thread size??? 94 shows 1st or 2nd design... 1/8th - 27 or 1/4 - 18 thread pitch...

 

1/4" pipe plug will close off the port that is above the oil filter on the side of the block.
