every once in a while my car will leak a small bit of oil. it leaves a spot about the size of a nickel. i had my car on a lift a couple weeks ago and it was a bit greasy, by what i believe is called the main oil seal.

anyway it appears the leak is coming from right after the oil pan. the oil pan gasket was replaced last fall. it leaked only one other time and that was the day after i changed my oil, and then took a 150 mile trip.

everything else is fine. should i be worried about this?

nope. and sometimes its better to let it leak rather than to plug it. just park with a pad under the car or some oil sweep.
