Is there any way to increase that to 80-100%? and run a bigger filter or something?

 

80-100%? No way in hell. Atleast not soon. There's so much technology that is out there, but I've never heard of it getting into production cars.

I forget the exact term.. I think it's called a full-flowing filter, or something? Basically it's a different design altogether, where all the oil flows through the filter at some point.

 

K&N gold filters are supposed to be better .

 

you need a high flow filter, and to eliminate the bypass
