nothing to really do with my car or anything, sort of popped up in my head earlier in the day. If you have one of those digital odometers (97+ instrument clusters). where is the mileage it records is stored? in the pcm? if the pcm is replaced, would the mileage change to the donor pcm? or if its store in the instrument panel itself, what happens if that part is changed? or what would happen if both are changed at the same time. how would you get the original mileage reading back to your car?
