Swapped in an 95 LT1 with a rebuilt 700R4 into a thirdgen. Got kind of a weird noise. Only hear it when i stomp on the accelerator going somewhere around 5-40 mph with low rpm. The quicker i stomp on the accelerator, the more worse the noise is. I wont hear it at all if i lightly accelerate the car. From a dead stop, if i take off, i wont hear it. Only if i let it coast around 5-40mph and then stomp on it. If i keep on it, it will eventually go away as the rpms increase. Thought it was the torque converter, it wasn't. The TV cable is adjusted right and tranny mount is ok, doesn't sound like that anyway. Doesn't sound like an exhaust leak. Sounds like its coming from the engine or the torque convertor. Its kind of a crackling sound.
