I've owned my thirdgen seven years now...

I've owned my 90 305 RS for seven years now, and it is still stock. When I bought it I had big plans for it. I had even bought a 350 shortblock which I still have. In the past four years, college and life in general got in the way, and I didn't have the money to build the car properly so I decided to keep it as a turn key cruiser/stocker until I could build it with the best parts. Well this summer I may be able to do a few things to it. Back when I used to play with these cars day in and day out, I used to know every spec, right down to cam specs for each engine code.

When I was wanting to pick up a few parts for my Camaro, I was looking at AFR 190s, a Random Tech catback, and Eiback Sportline lowering springs. At the time at least, these were some of the best parts available for these cars if the car was to be used as a street car. I am planning on doing a few of these things this summer and being that life is still in the way as always, I am curious to know if these parts are still regaled as some of the best, or if there are other products that have come out that are supposedly superior that I should check out. I wouldn't ask, however I no longer have subscriptions to Car Craft or any of my car magazines from which I can read all of the comparisons and reviews month-by-month like I used to.

Thanks, I especially would like to know if the Random Tech catback is still the best catback out there.

Do you happen to have pics with the Sportlines? The site says it drops the car 1.3 in the rear and 1.6 in the front, which I think would look sick as the stock springs are probably the #1 thing that make these cars look like crap in stock form. Have you had any clearance issues with them? I am still running stock 15x7 rims with a 60 series BFG and won't be buying wheels for some time so I would like to know that there are no clearance issues. Thanks.

well now they're AFR 195s, the 190s were discontinued, but other than that you just need a 9" moser, TH350 with 3500 stall, 383 with AFR 195s and a nice solid lifter cam around .550 and 250 duration and you're set. lol.
