No heat after core replacement

Hello, My Dad's 94 Z had a the heater core replaced and currently has no heat at all inside the car from the defrost, max etc. What is the cause of this or what did the clowns at our GM dealership forget to hook up? Thanks in advanced.

Who knows? Won't they fix it? Probably left a bunch of air in the system.

Well part o fthat is my Dad who after getting f__ once won't go back to them. I have had simialr problems with this dealership in that you take to them to fix one thing and they destry something else. Another thing is alwasy something goes wrong a few days later that needs replacemnt, then the car is good and they don't feel the need to sabotage it anymore.

I know it hasn't really affected him til this cold spell came through here in the NE.

there is air in the system, it took forever for me to get mine to bleed out and give me my heater back. easiest way to correct the situation is to check the bleeder screws on the thermostat housing and if they dont let much or any of the air out, pull the temperature sensor on the head out and the see how much more coolant your radiator takes...... mine took almost a gallon after that. just fill it up till it starts runnin outta the hole. Pour slowly so you dont make a mess all over your exhaust... probably help to have someone over there with a flashlight watchin for the fluid before you soak your exhaust manifold. then take some thread tape and put your temp sensor back in, top the radiator off wait about 5 minutes for it to fluctuate, check your bleeder screws again. Start it an let it come up to temp. You may have to bleed it again with the screws after that, but should be close and should have heat by then. hope that helps.
