Old wives tale some will argue this 1. Just change your oil at regular intervals and it really doesnt matter which oil you use. Some are even blends right out of the bottle

I used Mobil 1 for about 2 or 3 oil changes when I first bought my car, and have since been using Castrol GTX (for over 2 YEARS now
