new owner with questions

hello everyone,
this is a great site. i just purchased a 1995 z-28 convertible. my first lt1.
where can i find production numbers for this model? also information about
tire/wheel fitment, like will 17/18 in wheels fit without modifications?

We have an FAQ on the "Wheels and Tires" forum - you can mount anything from 15" - 20" wheels with no modifications, as long as you choose the correct wheels and tires:

The tried and true, most popular size wheel is 17x9.5. They fit with zero issues.

275/40/17 rubber.

the wheel fitment issue is more of a backspacing and offset deal.

read and do some research on specific wheels...we can help if we know what you have in mind...just a rim diameter is not very much help
