Just got done putting in 355 with cc306 and after 350 easy break in miles I have a loud knock from front of engine. Sounds like rod knock maybe rod bearing. Talk about getting butt f@@@@@@. Now I will probably have to pull motor again and take it back to machine shop. Or I could find a nice big tree to wrap it around....

 

Did you put enough oil in it?

 

Yeah plenty of oil, and oil pressure was always perfect.
