New to the forum and to Camaros

Hi all, I'll try to make this a short as possible. Bought a 94 z28 at auction and don't know anything about the history besides the paperwork included. It's a 94 with a 383 stroker kit, 4:10 gears, vortech supercharger,88K miles on the body, 5k on the motor. Edelbrock throtle body and exhaust, headers. All this for $3800, I think I scored!! The paper work for the shop that did the stroker was billed at $7900 just for doing the motor. I haven't done anything to car and dyno'd it and got 375hp at the wheel. The only problem I think I have is an overheating problem that I think my radiator is the culprit. I have bled the air various times and the w/p is not leaking. I know the heads were ported but don't know if cams were swapped. I'm an import guy and have a Mitsu 3000gt twin turbo, but also have a 03 Mustang gt. I would like to know more about these monsters. I have read a bunch regarding the LT1 and some of the issues they have (optispark). I did noticed the it's missing a couple of hoses from the throtle body, but I guess this is a by-pass mod. Any input or comments would be appreciated. Thanks

The hoses missing from the throttle body are most likely (99% sure) the Throttle Body Coolant Bypass. For $3,800 you got a hell of a deal. You should throw up some more pictures of the car.

What exactly do you want to know about the car?

Oh, by the way, get those headlight brackets painted black. It will flow better with the red/black scheme.

375hp? That seems awfully low... are you sure the blower belt isnt missing or something I mean I don't really know anything about LT1's in particular, but I've never seen a built up, supercharged V8 of any kind put less then 400hp to the wheels?

I just realized that too.

A blown, stroker motor putting 375 to the wheels does sound very low. I'm sure the car has some issues that will have to be sorted out, but for the price, you got a good deal.

Not sure about painting them, not really thrilled with the raccoon look.

As for the Supercharger and the low HP output, I'm not sure why but I know the belt is attached as is the same serpentine that goes to all the other pulleys. I do have a boost gauge that reads zero all the time, I thought the vacuum hose was kinked or fried. How can I check to see if is working?
