Welcome!

What kind of codes do you want to look up? RPO codes (from the door sticker)? DTC codes (from an ODB-II diagnostic scanner)? I'm assuming RPO codes.

A Google search reveals this list of RPO codes (just found it; might not be complete), and this page is great for DTC codes.

Your color scheme is the standard 30th anniversary scheme, but that's 1997. They're not common, but there are a number of 30th anniversary car owners on this forum, both Z28 and SS. A '96 Z28 with that color combination might indeed be rare, but only if it came from the factory that way, and I'm not aware of any such option from '96. Are you sure it's original?

Do you see "1LE" on the door sticker?

http://ve3eie.ncf.ca/1le_history.html

There were only 55 1LE Camaros (and only 10 Formulas) built in 1996, regardless of paint color.

all the v8s had one piece drive shafts....

only the 1le got the alum

but that is VERY easily changed out, and may have even been done by the dealership to resolve some vibration issues.

check the diameter of the driveshaft. the 1le units were bigger than the LS1 versions i think.

There were no factory stripes optional on a 96 Z28. The orange stripes were part of the 97 30th Z28 package (RPO Z4C). Aftermarket repro vinyl stripes are easy to obtain and apply to any year Z28.
