new 96 v8 z28 OBD2 hypertech Diag codes need help!

I just got a new 96 z28 V8 and I have some things coming up on my obd2 hypertech power programmer III and I was wondering if I could get some help from someone that has a magic decoder ring.

hypertech power programmer III

p0332- low input knock sensor bank2
p0410 error secondary air injecton trouble (Fuse? pump? water in lines?)
p1380 variable cam timing solenoid current malfunction, short or open
p0300 random misfire detected
p0140 rear 02 sensor - no activity

car specs:
45,000 miles on new GM 350 motor installed by GM
car has 119,00 miles
high output fuel pump
high output injectors re worked by rc injectors
new trans 100 miles (not 100k) brand new tork converter with shift kit

*when i put it on a lift i noticed that there was a little black box with a red led which bypassed the rear o2 sensor. i took it out & reconnected the o2 sensor to see what it would do, re cleared the codes. Now just p0140 02 sensor, p0332 knock sensor, and p0410 air pump error show up, for now. should i try buying a new 02 sensor? an whats the advantage to have that bypass if anything besides wasting gas, does it need it for the high output fule pump & injectors? ill see if any more codes pop up.

Shoebox has a code listing for the 93-97 LT1's. The OBD-II codes are selected via a tab at the bottom of the page:

More info:

P0332 = Knock Sensor (KS) circuit high/low voltage

There is only one knock sensor on the F-Body LT1's. You need to check the single wire to the knock sensor (bottom of block, screwed into the block drain plug on the passenger side, near the motor mount). Make sure you have 5V on the harness wire with the connector off the knock sensor. Then with the wire still off, measure the resistance from the single pin on the knock sensor to the block, and you should see about 100 KOhms.

P0410 = Secondary Air Injection (AIR) system

The PCM cycles the AIR pump and looks for excess air in the exhaust. If it doesn't see the excess air on the O2 sensors, it assumes there is no air flow. Make sure the pump is running at startup for about 2 minutes. Make sure the hoses that connect the AIR tubes to the exhaust manifolds aren't melted. Make sure the check valves aren't rusted closed.

P1380 = EB(T)CM DTC detected-rough road data unusable

Where did you find the definitions you listed? There is no variable cam timing solenoid on an LT1???

This is related to the ABS and TCS (if your car has traction control) system

P0300 = Engine misfire detected

Get it scanned with a high-end scanner with GM "enhanced parameter" capabilities. That will allow you to access the misfire count by individual cylinder, perhaps pointing to the problem cylinders.

P0140 = Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) insufficient signal activity Bank 1 Sensor 2

The device plugged into the after cat harness connector was probably an "O2 sim".... a small electronic device used on cars with deleted cats, to trick the PCM into thinking the cat is still there. If you still have the code with the harness connected to the real sensor:

The after-cat sensor on the passenger side is showing an open circuit. Could be the sensor, or could be the wiring. Swap the left and right side after-cat sensors. If the problem follows the sensor, its a sensor problem. If the problem stays on the passenger side its a wiring problem.

The after-cat O2 sensors will not cause a misfire. They are only there to detect whether the cat is there and working.
