need some help f-body'ers

Ive been recently having problems with either my battery cables or my alternator, the thing is, sometimes it takes like 3 secs to start the damn car, and when im driving my lights blink of and on dimly, like also when i step on the brakes my headlight and other lights get really dim. So i was thinking either the alternator or the cables,i really think its the cables cuz 1 time my car jus died and tried to start it up and got no power so i jiggled the cables around and it worked. If it is the battery cables does someone have a tutorial or a guide to walk me through to installing new cables??? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
p.s. i have a 95 3.4

Check the battery connections. Mine was having that same problem, and found out the ac delco battery was leaking around the positive terminal. Went to take the connector off and the ring on the battery broke off. Replaced battery, problem solved. You should have them checked out (battery and alternator).

Could also be the batt. Have that sucker tested for free at autozone or the likes.
