Long story short...With ignition on, and from under the car, i can jump the startrer and car fires up and runs for about 3 -5 seconds and shuts off..Wint start with key at all..cleaned chip on key, still no go..Any help would be gratly appreciated..

is it getting fuel, I think VATS cuts off fuel so it might still be they key reader

 

Also have the neutral safety sw. if it's an auto. and the clutch sw. if it's a manual.

 

would the nuetral safety swith killit after it was strarted, i didnt think it would..??
