need quick answer from someone who has an LS1 maro in the garage

what size is the hood? width and length. i need to know if it will fit in my truck. im going to pick one up tomarrow.

Dunno. Can't see the hood from here.

I'm going to venture a guess that, no, it wouldn't fit in a trunk.

I'll measure it tonight.

BTW, how much are you asking for the '91?

I'd say it won't "fit" in the back of a truck, but it will go on there without hanging over TOO much. Avoid flying over potholes and speedbumps at high speeds and you won't damage the hood. Surround it with cardboard and strap it down moderately tight.
