Need more power!

Hey i have a 2002 SS 6 speed and want more power, but dont really have the money to do a supercharger or heads/cam package right now. My car has all SLP factory options, SLP y-pipe, SLP MAF, whisper lid, K&N filter, underdrive pulley, TB bypass kit, smooth bellows, MSD plug wires...I ordered Pacesetter LTs, ORY, and GMMG catback (should all be here within a week). It has 327 rwhp and 343 rwtq now, plus whatever the LTs and exhaust will add...my question is what else can i do to gain hp/tq without SC or H/C? I will eventually do these both, but am looking for other performance mods first. also, what would u estimate in power/torque gains from the LTs and exhaust?? thanks

Well theres nitrous You could put in underdrive pullies and an electric water pump, with those two you should get an extra 10 HP. Dont forget to get a computer tune after you do the headers also, thats worth around 10 HP if you still have the stock computer. Im not sure how much you will gain, but you could see what most of the LS1 Z28's gain and yours would be a little less (because your exhaust allready flows a bit better then a Z28).

I would definitely do a tune, that is a good bang for the buck mod. Ditto on the nitrous idea. I didn't have the money for a heads/cam or supercharged car either. That is why I went the nitrous route as well.

exhaust will help you out. I would guess from LT's and a good exhaust you will pick up 20hp or so. Nitrous is always the best bang for the buck mod. You simply will not get more HP per dollar with anything else.

BTW, this is an exhaust specific fourm. Since your question, or questions is more about general power mods I think you would get a much better response in the "general tech" fourm.

Moving...
