Need to modify rear corner panels on my 94 camaro z28 for 18x10.5 +30

I was thinking about cutting the fender well / wheel housing that supports the rear corner panel from behind. I wanna make this cut from the front to the back of the wheel Well/ wheel housing. Well as much as I need to to get the results I want anyways. So anyways I wanna cut the wheel housing/ wheel well and use a Hydraulic piston with a shaped piece of wood pushing against the back side of the rear panel so there is no specific pressure point. then when I get it where I want it there should be a gap created from this in the cut that I have made in which I would cut and weld in metal to fill the gap then release piston and keep my shape. Sounds good I know! Lol. But I’m wondering if anyone has ever attempted this or am I the first to try this and wanted opinions on it. I will post pics and updates on this. And just need some input. PS. Paint damage is a non issue because I’m painting the entire car satin white. The rear wheels I have stick out about 1-1.5 inches and will not ride around like a hot boy stance life guy in this beautiful machine. Plus I think it would give me a decent yet slight wide body look. Thanks in advance people
PS I am also doing a 98-01 front end swap on this car. Got a nice factory SS hood from a 99 with no chips or cracks at all. And all the brackets I need to get it done. And brand new aftermarket bumper cover and fender on the way.
