Need help replacing safety switch on clutch

Need help replacing safety switch on clutch

Car wont start when clutch is engaged. a few pumps of the clutch and it starts. is this the safety switch going bad or something else.

The switch is attached to the clutch pedal bracket. It is the large rectangular switch that is depressed by the clutch pedal when you push it in.
It just snaps onto the bracket. I would just look at it and if it's not loose press it by hand and try to start the car. If it won't start it's probably the switch. I got one at NAPA for about $5.
