Need HELP with my 1996 PONTIAC FIREBIRD!
I recently picked up a flood salvaged PONITAC FIREBIRD. I thought this would be easy because I have owned chevy's all my life (well, this is a GM!) and I was told that the firebird was simalar to the camaro (I owned 2- 1989's)
The car is mint condition, asides from the problems that occurred due to the flood.
all fuses are fine.
I have a couple of problems that I cannot seem to fix. one being the directionals. When i first turn on the car and put the directionals on, it takes close to 30 seconds before it will blink. then it waits another 30 seconds for it to blink again.
after 5 minutes, it will blink about every 20 seconds. after another 5 minutes, it goes down to 15 and so on and so on. but it does not reach its original blinking speed (every 1.5 seconds?)
I checked my bulbs. I replaced a couple. All of them seem to be working but I cant figure out for the life of me why they will not work properly. Is there a main switch that I have to replace?
another thing is my horn........IT DOESNT WORK! is there a main relay or module that has to be replaced?
thanks!!!!

wel, I found the turn signal flasher and it was indeed filled with water. i replaced it and now the signals are working perfectly!
I then went on to look for the horn relay. I searched all over and there is none in the convience center.
I checked under the hood and there was no horn relay either, just a 20 amp fuse, but the fuse was fine. can there horn relay be elsewhere?
