My heater core is leaking I've been trying to remove it to install a new one but I can't take off the 2 hoses that it has attached as far as I can see they are both metal from end to end. How can they be removed ?

 

The hoses are rubber where they connect to the heater core under the hood. You remove them like any other heater hose.

 

I just took my heater core out last week. I couldnt get those hoses off either so as I was reading the Hanes manual it says if you cant get them to come off just cut them and thats what I did.
