Need help ASAP on car not turning over....

Its an 86 Iroc Z28 w/ 400 Carb. Small Block that had the 5.7 FI orignally. I recently pulled the motor to do work to the engine bay and pulled all the wiring harness out also. I installed everything back the way it was and now the car wont turn over with the key. I put a test light on the little start relay they have and everytime I turn the key and ignition wire is giving power to it but its not giving the starter wire power. I tired buying a Ford start relay and that didn't work as well. Anyone have ideas on this one? I'm completely stumped here

Yea I have it grounded but I'll double check how good it is. I forgot to meantion that when I touch the start wire directly to the battery is starts to crank but I don't hold it there cause it gets hot naturally

sounds like the solinoid on the starter. If you can take the starter to an autozone they can test your starter.
