Lost Keys!
Lost Keys!
Alright, i bought the car in october, drove it for like a month and the headgaskets blew, so i put it away for a while.
well, when i bought it, i recieved only 1 set of keys. In the last 2 months, that set of keys has disappeared! I'm working on getting it back into running condition, but its kinda tough when i dont even have a set of keys for it.
Is there any way to bypass VATS without the key? or am i just screwed? What should i do?
thanks,
Josh

the vin contains the code for the pellet? i called superior chevrolet in cincinnati, the guy told me id have to have the car towed there and that it would cost between 5 and 600 dollars.
If you can get a key made to turn the lock you could probably hook a small value potentiometer to the VATS system it would take forever but eventually you should run across the right resistance using a table. Shoebox has a **** ton of information on his site there is bound to be something you can use there is a link in his sig.
so i take it theres no way to bypass the vats, or just remove it altogether without a key?
this kind of thing just pisses me off, i remember the last time i saw the set of keys.. on the kitchen table. then my mother "cleaned up" my **** always disappears.
