Re: need help on 94z28 radio

Hi there, i finally got the radio sorta like the one pictured installed. The 4 6.5 speakers fit in the factory holes ok and it looks factory. I had to run new speaker wires like I said in a older post so I had to take out the entire bottom of the dash to run the wires the way I wanted to so they would be out of view. It seems to work fine. I want to thank everyone for their help getting this took care of. Someone mentioned a service manual for these cars. are the available here or at a bookstore. thanks again for your help

The factory manual is huge, two heavy volumes. You may find a used set on ebay. Original cost was about $125 from Helms, used copies can run $50.
