Do I need this? Sway bar bracket (Pics)

Recently reinstalled my front sway bar & realized I did not put this bracket back on...it goes in between sway bar mounting bracket on drivers side but there is not one on the passenger side how important is it? Doesn’t seem to affect anything as far as I can see everything bolted up fine
as always any input is much appreciated

it might be that the point on the drivers side need to spread the load out as that might be a fatigue point of the system.
