My windshield wipers are returning to a vertical position. They seem to work fine otherwise, they just return to a vertical state instead of horizontal. What do I need to replace? I'm going to the junk yard to get parts in the next half hour. Thanks!

Also, Is it possible to replace the motor and assembly with minimal knowledge and tools? The repair quote is over $330. I think that I can do it myself.

 

Thats a weird one. I'm having a problem with mine but not that bad. Mine dont go down all the way when you turn them off. They just sit at the lowest position like they are on delay........but they're not.

 

A quick search and it looks like I found the answer to both our problems. We need new motors.

Thanks! I just picked up a motor from the junkyard for $50.00. I'll try the installation tomorrow when the rain stops. Hopefully it will be a trouble free installation.

 

Exactly what i was thinking i've seen this problem posted about 100x of times. I'm glad someone around here knows how to use the search function.
