So I caught this glint of light off the hatch the other day. The hatch glass is original, stamped LOF, solid tempered. I didn't think tempered glass could crack like this? Or maybe it's not even a crack? It doesn't appear to go all the way up to the hinge area, and I can't feel it from either side (running a nail or gently running a screwdriver blade over it).
Any suggestions, if the glass just gives up and I find it in a pile in the hatch? Can a glass shop replace just the glass?
GaryDoug, those are both photos of the back glass at different angles, showing what caught my attention. It's definitely not a reflection, and it is definitely in the glass--it runs into the shaded part and stops. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens, if it spreads or not. I've not seen tempered glass crack like that, if it is actually a crack.

The first photo has to be a reflection, the normal glass surface does not follow that line. In the photo there are many other reflections. I do not see any problems in the second photo. Maybe some OCB therapy is in order ;-) Stop worrying.
