Mufflex Y-pipe and Jet-Hot LTs
Mufflex Y-pipe and Jet-Hot LTs
I'm going to be ordering the Y-pipe sometime this week.
Any last opinions from anyone?
I've been told that it does work with Jet-Hots, are there any other problems that I may not know about it?
My plans are to install two 3 inch cats (I have seen pictures of this done before... can anyone confirm that this is possible?)
Thanks!

Re: Mufflex Y-pipe and Jet-Hot LTs
Oh its very possible, my '94 Trans-Am has just that setup. Jet-Hot's are simply coated Hooker LT's so the mufflex Y-pipe will work fine. My car has emissions headers + two cats because my car had to pass New Jersey emissions. The kid I bought it from had the headers and Y-pipe put on by Mufflex, so they did the modifications on the Y-Pipe. If this perks your ears up and wanna see pics please e-mail me directly baron440@ptd.net I'll get some pics to you in the next day or two.
BTW I think I may have one of the most expensive exhaust systems on here.
Jet Hot LT's w emissions- $500+
Y-pipe - $250
2 cats - $200
Gmmg catback - $700
Labor at mufflex for header install, Y-pipe modification and install - $$$$$$$$$
