Mounted my gauge on my hood, and consequences?

I recently put an autometer fuel pressure gauge on my hood in one of the pods that are meant to be monuted there. It is a stock hood, I drilled three holes in the hood for the mounting screws(2) and the fuel line. Is there anything I should be worried about or that I should do to keep from rusting or anything else?

I'll try to get some shots for you tomorrow. I think it looks great. It wil look even better when I put the N2O press. gauge right next to it. I did it just because I didnt want to spend the big bucks to do either an isolator to mount the mechanical inside the compartment, or an expensive electronic gauge.

with the holes you drilled, put paint in them(a brush applicator of touch-up paint is great for this)
