Which mod first?? H/C or SC??

Seriously. I am about 90% convinced that I want to just do a SC first when I get back from deployment, this summer. Keep in mind, either way I will go, I want to go w/ the Procharger eventually... Both I figure to be about $6,000.. I just need help deciding.. I know that I will sacrifise some initial power when going to a larger head, but when I add the SC it will run like a deamon. -Is that correct?

I have been researching this and from what I understand the AFR 225cc heads are good for the F.I. motors. Any cam grind recomends w/ this?? Also a LSX Intake w/ mabie a 90mm Intake. I will do a Moser 12B rear w/ 3.83's w/ either one of these combos.

------OR-----

Procharger P1SC-1 w/ the Moser 12B and 3.83's..
Any maintenance or daily upkeep issues w/ the SC setup??

I'm kind of stumped...

to maximize the effect of the supercharger, it would help having better flowing heads, and maybe a blower spec cam. so if you are looking to go kill ferrari's then you might end up doing the s/c and h/c anyway. i didnt read through all your mods, but maybe get a better clutch if you didnt already. anyway, seen a stock z28 with a procharger putting down 535rwhp. not bad at all. wish that was the route i went.

oh forgot....dont forget the fuel upgrades. injectors and pump.

I would go super charger first. I did it last and would do first if I had to do all over again. The supercharger is the only mod i've done that i noticed a huge change.

I have sat and done all the numbers on paper many times. Speaking here when thinking of a stock motor: You will be more reliable and make just as much power with the right heads and cam compared to a supercharger only on a stock motor. This will cost roughly the same amount of money between the two. IMO the stock compression is too high for any serious amount of spirited driving with a supercharger on a stock motor. If you're thinking of reliablility, you really need to build the motor for forced induction. Once that's done, depending on the quality of parts you use, the sky is the limit w/ boost.

D1SC -clicky.. I did some research, the D1SC and the P1SC-1 seem to be about the same except for some hose specs. -What's the major diff w/ these? I'm somewhat SC illerate. I know what they do and how they do it, it's just some of the specs confuse me..

Comp- I do plan on building the motor for FI, But I'm tempted to get the SC first. I L-O-V-E that blower sound, and I've ALLWAYS wanted one!

The heads and cam will run me about $2400. If I were to include the LSX intake and the TB wil run me an extra $1300. So it'de still be slightly cheaper than buying the SC, but I'll take a temperary loss in HP because of the lowered compression. But.......once I get the SC and hook that bad boy up, she'll run like a...... well, like a H/C/intake and SC car.... fawkin Quick..

I like this, I'e actually made up my mind as to what parts I want... a first for me...

EDIT: Add a clutch to either mod choice, I did plan on that I just forgot mention it.

Hey buddy! As you know the only REAL way to go fast in this area is with forced induction or N20 so you're on the right track! Hey I was looking at your pics, do you work in C.E. or Trans?
