Metal cutting tool

I was looking for a hand held tool to be able to cut through smaller metal like LCA brackets. I was thinking a Sawzall or a Dremel. You guys have any suggestions?

Re: Metal cutting tool

Pneumatic Die-Grinder. OR an Electric 90* 3.5" angle grinder/ open shoe grinder also 3.5 inch w/ a metal cutting blade. THat should do it.

Re: Metal cutting tool

I use a sawzall for exhaust work and a dremel or die grinder with a cutoff disc to do more precise metal work.

Re: Metal cutting tool

Your gunna want to shoot yourself if you try cutting a LCA bracket with a dremel. Sawzall or the cutoff tool is a better way.

Plasma Cutter?

Dude, Plasma cutter?? Way too expensive. For what he's looking at doing. Yeah, the cut off tool is the way to go. Pluss you can use this for a lot of other things. Like grinding down the sharp edges from the piece you just cut. Dremel is good for small fine tuned work, like porting and polishing stuff.

You can do a LOT w/ this.... strap a cutting blade on it and you're good to go. MUCH cheaper than a plasma cutter. Although that PC would be fun to mess around w/...
