SLP fan switch is the easiest since its plug and play but it cost the most.

I just wired up my own fan mod about two weeks ago. It works great when I need to turn the fans on sooner. I went to the local RadioShack and spent around $10 all together on items that I needed for the install. Not hard at all.

Its very easy to do. I wouldnt buy the SLP kit. I just wired a switch to the fan and 12v power source, done.
