So i was looking at my stock hood and noticed that htere is like two intake looking things on it...

It looks like theres a bunch of holes but its just one solid piece.

Is there any kits out there or anyway you can mod it yourself to make it sort of a ram air type thing for cooling.

 

cant unless you buy a ram air hood. The holes at the back of the camaro just go to the back of the intake and cant be sued as a ram air unless you get a SS style hood or something similar

 

So by pokin out the holes in the hood now, wouldn't that in some way cool the engine at higher speeds?

It just seems so cheesy to actually look at it and see its a non functioning piece of plastic

 

its not gonna do anything besides dump water on electrical parts. its not gonna cool the motor down any, it stays cool enough with a tune to ahve the fans come on earlier. if you want ram air get an Ultra Z hood or SS hood with an airbox
