A/C Help! Orifice Tube Question?
I have an 1988 Firebird I just fixed the leak in the system pulled a vacuum for 30 minutes and held the vacuum for 40 minutes.
Charged it up I have good pressure on the high side and on the low.
It's just not very cold.
An A/C guy I knew awhile back told me that when you convert an R12 system over to 134A a trick to get it a little colder was to use a Ford Orifice Tube.
I forget what colour either yellow or orange?
Does any body know what the orifice size is on all the tubes?
Can somebody help me out here I want to work on it tomorrow.
Thanks,
Chris G.
