I have been tossing around the idea of getting a mail order tune, but I don't know how worth while it would be on my car, which is basically intake and exhaust. I am planning on a cam change this summer whenever I have the money, and have been thinking about just waiting until after that to get a tune.

I can't just get a simple reflash after the cam since I have a 93, I'd have to get a whole new burn, and to my knowledge, pay the full price again.

Advice?

 

I'd wait till after the cam. You don't want to pay for it again, right?

My buddy got a tune from MadZ28.com and his (96 TA) car pulls like a raped ape now! Just full exh and an EWP.

 

A good tune can go a long way even on a stock car. Mostly it's adjusting the fuel trims for WOT so it's not so rich.

 

A mail-order tune can make for a great bolt-on mod, but the summer time is only a couple months away. I you are going to cam the car then, then it would only make sense to just wait for the tune until that time.

 

Well, by summer time, I mean probably end of summer. I need to save up about 1000 bucks.
