Re: magnaflow vs flowmaster

i recently swapped my flowmaster out for a magnaflow setup. mostly because i had to quiet the car down due to a new baby. i'm really happy with it though. performance seems the same but the tone is much lower at idle. of course it screams if you stomp it but once the rpms settle, it gets nice enough to be able to have a conversation with the passenger without having to yell. overall i enjoy my magnaflow.

Cool Re: magnaflow vs flowmaster

Here ya go. This is under racing conditions, Magnaflow cat-back, everything else stock. Pardon the howling all-season tires, i've got race tires now.

stainless steal still gets rust on it with time, my buddy has Borla and it has started to rust and it's stainless. Even the stainless steal tips get rusted if you don't maintain them. I always polish my 3 1/2 SS tips to keep them looking nice.
