Wink MAF Sensor

I haved to replace the MAF sensor of my Camaro LT1 97, i would like to know the reason, my car got: the K&N(FIPK)air filter, Long tube ceramic headers, and Flowmaster cat back system.
A mechanic told me that maybe the MAF sensor can't not handle that extra hp.
Is that right and i have to go for an aftermarket mass airflow sensorin jegs's or thats thing just happen and i better go for a new stock MAF sensor? I would apreciatte any suggestion.

Re: MAF Sensor

The stock MAF sensor is good to 400 or more horsepower (I believe 450). I would get a stock one as aftermarket ones cause more problems then help.

ur maf will support alot more power than what ur mods show

are u having troubles with ur MAF?

over oilingur k&n filter will cause ur MAF to act up cuz the oil will cover it

best thing to do is to try and clean it ,ihear electrical cleaner works well

EDIT:
I totally missed the point of this thread

U DO NTO NEED A NEW MAF, UNLESS UR HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT OR UR PISHING MAAAADDD POWA LOL

Re: MAF Sensor

Your mechanic is wrong, your MAF sensor will handle your bolt-ons easily and some.
