Re: madz28 core charge refund???

There are a few reasons for the slower refunds. I have had at least 5 bad PCMs sent back to me in the last few months. I was refunding right away then, so I didn't find out about them being bad until later. Now I need to test each one of them before I can refund you because this is seriously not worth it and I will explain why.

Consider this - The fee for the core charge is $10. I am out of a PCM for at least a week (some never send them back either), I have to purchase others to make up for this, I have to spend the time to program it to your VIN and make it identical to yours and then I have to spend time checking it to make sure it's not bad. When you get a few bad back, this is seriously becoming not worth it because I lose quite a bit of money.

So up to this point, this worked like a rebate. If I continue to get screwed, I will most likely discontinue this service. I have always tried to help people, but I've been burned one too many times doing it.

Kevin, I've sent you an email.

I wasn't talking about discontinuing tuning, but the exchange service. There is way too much work, delay and risk for the $10.

Why not take more money? (closer to the price of a PCM)
