LT1 accessory bracket removal

My bracket has been held together by jb weld up by the alt for quite some time now. Now the other day one of the power steering bolt stripped out somehow. So there is no more putting this off. I've got the new bracket ordered, now I can easily get the alt and power steering pump off, but how is that a/c compressor going to come out? I read somewhere on here that I may need to pull the radiator. I really hope not. I just don't see a whole lot of room to pull it out. Also from looking at the pic on shoebox's site, from what I'm understand there is a bolt behind the tensioner as well?
If anyone has installed one of these before I would greatly appreciate and advice you may have. by they way it's a 95 Lt1

Shoebox has a good photo here that identifies what mounts to the Accessory bracket: http://shbox.com/1/accy_brkt.jpg

The photo clearly shows that the A/C compressor bolts to the Accessory bracket. Most likely the bolts can be removed and the A/C compressor "strapped" in place to remove the bracket.

I had to replace mine for the same reason. There are four or five bolts holding it to the block and head. I was replacing my power steering pump at the time. I did have my fans out when doing it, but as best I recall....I ran into no problems at all. Just be sure to torque everything to spec. I just let the compressor hang.

Sounds great, thanks for the help. Now I just have to wait for the replacement, while my poor z sits helpless in the driveway
