Im looking for responds from guys that have the SLP Loudmouth catback system and Long tube headers without or with cats. Perferably guys with the FLP LT package. That is the one i will be getting. I love my loudmouth and it isnt to loud to me. I came form having a highly modded 94 c-1500 truck with the 350 that ran open headers most of the time. So i am use to loud and i want as loud as it will go. Obnoxiuos is right where i want to be!! thanks for any responds.

i love it.... EXCEPT i replaced the LM resonator with an 18" dynomax bullet....sounds insane mean at WOT!!!!

 

You guys that think LM and LTs is obnoxious crack me up. My setup of LTs and cutout is beyond obnoxous.

If you want it loud, don't get cats. I've got a buddy with a 98 Z28, with headers, ORY,and a loudmouth. If your behind the car when he revs it up high,it will hurt your ears. Thats the only Fbody, I think that has been so loud,it has made my ears hurt. He said the sound level didn't change to much after he put the ORY and catback on after the headers,after running open headers.

Putting a catted Y pipe on there is a totally diffrent story however.

 

I'm going to be putting longtube headers w/catted y-pipe on my WS6 next month. Will the high flow cats make a huge difference in how loud it will be ? I want my GMMG to be louder, but can't go catless due to the rasp I would get.

Cats should cut the rasp, and only moderately decrease the sound level. It will still be louder.

 

Not sure of difference in sound quality between LT1 and LS1 with LT and an LM, but with my car, took it around the block (the long way) and the wife said she could tell where I was the entire time.

Really loud. Too much for me as the driver (oh the resonance = pain), changed to a Spintech exhaust.


So it should be perfect for you.

I heard a Z06 with a loudmouth at the track, not sure if he had headers or not, but I hated it. Way too loud and annoying

 

my 94 z has headers/y-pipe and loud mouth with a off road pipe and its loud as hell i love it. its auto and it back fires
