Loud noise when accelerating...

Please help. I just noticed that when I'm driving I get a noise through what seems to be the speakers. Under acceleration, the noise gets louder and as rpm's go down, it gets softer. I have a 2001 SS with stock Monsoon system. I know most people here don't like it, but I want to keep everything stock. Any help?

Re: Loud noise when accelerating...

sound slike ignition problem, or antena wire issue, you got EMI (electro magnetic interference) i.e. bad spark plug wire emitting EMI into the radio, or non- resistor plugs, or a chaffed antena wire... or a plug wire not seated.
