my car has been sitting in my garage since mid-april...for numerous reasons...and ive started it up a few times to let it run for a little...but today i went out and started it up...gave it a few really good revs and let it settle back down only to notice that it started idling low...like around 600rpms wen its usually around 800 or 900....and wen i went to rev it again it hesitated for a second like it wasnt getting fuel or sumthin and repeated that same thing every time i revved it after that...and wen i let it just idle it seems like it might stall out every now and then...now i have no idea what it could be and i just got my PCM tuned by MadZ28 and this is the first time i revved it like this since i installed the new pcm, 160* t stat, lt4 km, and a brand new mass air flow sensor (all at the same time)...any ideas?????

 

bad gas?!?

 

i have two new front O2's coming soon so i'm gonna put them in when they get here...but could the gas go bad from just sittin and being started maybe once every three weeks???

 

Sitting for awhile, sometimes things stick.....IAC could be your problem... Any bugs/wasp nests/spiders/rat nest in the CAI?????

 

Fuel filter, corrosion likes to take place in them if they are sitting for awile and you had gas in the tank without anything in the gas to make sure it doesnt seperate, get some carb cleaner to wile your at it

 

just to let everyone know in case they do have this problem...it was most definitely the fuel filter...i was in desperate need of a new one so yesterday i put a new fuel filter in and the car is running amazing again!! thanks guys
