Looking at 2000 WS.6....wuts it worth?

so today i went and test drove a 2000 T/A WS.6....its got 76K miles on it, 6 spd., black leather int., white exterior, borla exhaust, carbon fiber inserts all over inside, t tops, and he thinks just one owner previous...it runs great!!! has all kinds of power...and thats all i can think of off the top of my head...guy wants $17,800 for it tho...to me thats a little on the pricey side...he said he can work with it a little bit...who knows how much that means...what would you guys pay for it??? i was thinkin maybe around $14K is a little more reasonable

On the other hand, if the car is worth 13-14K to you, make the offer! What do you have to lose? Bring a cashier's check (or cash, if you carry) to the table. Maybe he'll bite.

~$18k is nuts. Look around, you can find a deal.

Like me. I bought a '99 M6 T/A (not WS6) w/83k miles for $7,500 a little over a year ago. Since then, I see all these people paying out the a$$ for these cars and I shake my head every time.

Or wait until '09 to buy..

bear in mind a T/A will cost more then a camaro and being a true WS6 will help in the price, but the milage is high for the price he is asking. Although I would like to pay as little as I can I would expect 16K would be reasonable.

Way too much money, chew him down or just turn the other way. There are plenty of f-bodies on the "for sale" market.

yeah but im not in the market for just any f-body..i want a 2000-2002 T/A WS.6 6spd...kinda narrows it down a good deal...i do agree he is over priced...but maybe i can get him to take $14K...he did say hes had the car for a little while and just moved it to another lot to try to get a sale there...
