Little red box?

I have been having trouble starting my car sometimes and all I have to do is wiggle the positive(red) wire on the red box on the passanger side fender near the battery and It will start. I try to tighten the nut and the whole stud spins so it wont get tight. Where can I find this part?
I checked with a chevy dealer and they said it was discontinued.

It's not discontinued as far as I know. I bought one from the dealer about a year ago. It's GM # 12186586.

Wiring block, junction block, something like that. Just have them pull up the picture and point it out to them.

Mine was missing the cover so it looked weird to see it whole again. My voltage issue appeared to get better after replacing it. I cleaned all the connections to and from it when I replaced it.

How did you clean the gunk out of that area? I need to replace my little red box as well, but not sure what to use to clean the 10 years of gunk out with.

That's weird! They didn't have it come up in search results yesterday, as if they were out. I emailed them yesterday, so maybe it did some good...? Wish it would have come up, because I ordered one from a local dealer for $15.

That red box is just a junction where the battery cable and alternator cable come together. You could just remove the stud and replace it with a nut and bolt to hold them together. The red casing should still be used to insulate the connection.
