What is the fastest LT1 that is running through stock manifolds? Any examples that aren't a FI car? I did a search and saw some 11's on nitrous, but I'm wondering about a heads/cam car. I've seen some stockers and nostalgia street cars put down some crazy fast times and just wondered whats out there for us 4th gen guys.

 

I bet you could hit mid to high 11's with H/C,bolt ons besides headers,cutout,possibly ORY, and other complementing mods(gears,tires,possible stall in an auto,etc.) The stock manifolds are a huge bottleneck, but not so horrible that they are very restrictive to the point where you'd make no power. It would just be held from the car's true potential. I bet if everything else in the car was upgraded and you then went from manifolds to LT's you could probably see more than the average 20-30rwhp increase. It sure would wake up too.
