Lid Help

I just installed the SLP lid about an hour ago. Followed the instructions, everything seemed to fit fine. But when I just took it for a test drive, the car kept stalling on me. I also noticed when I first started to take off, the exhaust backfired a bit. I had to keep it revved to get it home. Otherwise the car would stall. It got too dark to take a second look at my install, so I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

Had this happened to anyone? What did I miss? Is it the seal of the lid thats not tight?

Oh also this is on a 2002 M6 Z28 with a flowmaster cat.

Thanks...

did you reconnect any wires or plugs you unplugged to install?
did you place the AIR tube on?

well checked it out first thing this morning. All connections were there and everything looked tight. So I just reseated the filter and lid anyway. I did noticed the sensor going into the grommit in the lid originally had the clip facing out and was currently facing in. So I just turned it around. (yeah like that was really it)

Anyway, took it for a ride, and the problem went away. Not sure what the issue was. Maybe it just needed readjusting. Pretty wierd though.
