I drive a 2001 z28. I have been having trouble with numerous parts of my car. The driver's side windo has been malfunctioning. It will respond, but will only go down slightly and then stop. After I wait some time and try again, the window will go down furthur, but sometimes it will not respond at all. I am hoping that there is no problem with the motor itself. Also, and I don't know if this could be related, my rear left tail light has gone out. My 12-disc changer, located on the same side, rarely works. I am hoping that all these problems are related, and that there is a fairly simple answer, but I can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Your window motor sounds like it's just toast, don't think it's related to your tail light, or the CD changer. I'd change the bulb, replace the motor (not too hard). The wiring does go down the left side - I'd start a separate post in the stereo section about your problem with the changer.
