lately I've been hearing a tick coming from my car. it sounds like a valve tick. but i thought maybe exhaust leak cuz i just put on pacesetters, and now realize how crappy the gaskets are. i fixed a few leaks in the y-pipe and catback, and still ticks. i just bought percy's gaskets, and need to install those for another option. but i recently put the car up on a lift while running, and i hear no header leak, and using a prybar held to my ear i could not hear the tick coming from the engine, but actually the tranny (6 speed) what could be wrong with the trans that would make it tick like a valve tick? clutch? im so confused. i'll really know once i put those new gaskets on. i PRAY those stop the noise.
