Kind Of A Dumb Question.

Okay I feel really stupid asking this questions but I've been wondering about it for a long time. Here goes, when I'm idling and I rev up the motor the car likes to lean to the passenger side. Why? What makes this happen? Torque? I have no idea. Some, not all car and truck V8 powered that I've been in do this. It's most prominent in my friends 2001 Dakota 4.7.

Thanks...

Re: Kind Of A Dumb Question.

It's SCIENCE, "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". If you rotate the engine CCW then the engine tries to rotate the car CW. This is most notable in high HP cars with soft suspensions. The next time your at the track watch which front wheel comes off the ground first.
