i was doing some searches to see how to install this lt4 km that i just bought from someone off of here and ran across the lt4 km part number which is 16214681... did i get hosed?

that sucks.. it was joshp007 on here.. he has a good amount of posts and i've seen him sell/buy alot so i thought i'd have nothing to worry aobut .. i sent hima PM.. hopefully he just madea mistake.. if not, this is the first time i've ever had problems buying/selling on here

 

i sent the other guy a PM that got a lt4km off of him and his is also a lt1km.. this is rediculous.. unfortuantely it looks like this wasnt a mistake

sounds like one of those live and learn deals you get with buying stuff off the internet.

 

ya well its hard to live and learn with things like this.. bc i know in the future this will not stop me from buying off this board. i've had too many good transactions on here. but he sent a PM and said that he found the lt4km in his garage right now.. hopefully he finds another for the other guy..

 

It could have been an honest mistake... HE may have bought them as LT4 knock modules and got ripped off himself. Didn't use them so sold them as LT4 knock modules just like he bought them and didn't do any research to see if they really were or not. Just saying...

So, I wouldn't put too much into the initial transaction as it could have been an honest mistake. You'll find out soon enough though based on how he handles this now

 

THanks Brent! That is actually what happened. I knew I had the old one out of my car so I knoew that one was a lt1 but I accidentally sent the wrong one out. I will send the new one to you Donohue and Harvey please pm me your paypal info and I will refund your money. Apparently I got jipped too Oh well I guess like you say its a live and learn experience. Again I apologize for the mix up

 

This guy is legit, he sent me my part promptly and it was as advertised. I'd deal with him again anytime.
